Brion Plein has very good food and reasonably priced. The owner and his staff are very personable and friendly. They all spoke English, dutch and Spanish. Brion has nightly specials that are tasty, we'll prepared with generous partitions.

The view is of the channel across to Punda and the pontoon bridge. On Friday nights there is live music which makes for a relaxing evening out.

Fist of all....it's Brion Plein. Named after the admiral Pedro Luis Brion, who fought along with Simon Bolivar. It's a huge open place with great view of Handelskade Punda, the pontoon bridge (Queen Emma), the Riffort Village and the St. Anna Bay. All in one and flanked by the Otrobanda Hotel and Casino and the Howard Johnson Hotel. Big festivities are also held there. Also has some fast food restaurants e.g Subway. The Brionplein Restaurant there is also a cool blace to eat.

We have been twice at the Brion Plein restaurant. It is operated by a Dutch guy who looks very personally to his guests. He mentioned at the second visit to us - if it was good again for you I am very happy as the second time is always harder to convince customers. He did not disappoint us and we will go again next time we will be in Curacao.
The food range is from real Caribbean Food to a standard rage. We believed the value for money was great and the quality of food was very good. I would not say it is "fine" dining as there is not to many things around the foor but a good experience. You sit outside on a large plaza under the sky. Most seats are sheltered by sunshade.
Every Friday they have a Salsa Band playing in front of the restaurant (if there is not a public holiday)
They are closed every Sunday - but I believe if you come with a larger group you can convince the management to open for you.
We would recommend it for having a very good and authentic experience in Curacao
