Service by Mirti is personal and nice. Cook Mario is excellent.
Delicious Italian food. The wine is well chosen. You can sit inside or outside. Make reservations.

“Takes for ever tourist trap”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 25, 2013

My family and I went here based on the other reviews on this site, and it was by far the worst experience of our one week vacation. The one positive, none of the staff was rude. But good Lord did it take forever.

We sat outside, but the place is small and we were five feet from the door. By this time, we undertook that service on the island was slow, so our expectations were not high. But the waitress would come out to us once every fifteen minutes (we had to go inside to order drinks several time), it took them thirty minutes before we could order (the waitress came out three times without either a pen or something to write on), and we didn't get our food for an hour. When the food came out, it was cold, and my girlfriends grilled cheese was a joke (basically two toasted pieces of bread with cold Swiss cheese in between).

The worst yet was that we had to ask three times for the check, before I went in and made it a point. Our check was $215 for five people, which was another joke. On top of that, they just added 16% gratuity, which for a giant table would be fine, but five people is not means for an automatic gratuity, not to mention that the service we received was horrible. By the time we got our check, we had been there for 2:30, by no means our choice.

There are some excellent choices for eating in Curaçao, but stay away from the center of town. Fishalicious and Mundo Bizzaro have much better food, service, and character in their design/setting than any place down there, and they're just a further five minute walk away. Stay away from the center of town, and definitely stay away from this place.
