I thought I was prepared for good local food after reading reviews and having a local also recommend this place. However my expectations were exceeded!! We went to Gracias di Dios (which means "by God's Grace" per our host John) I shared the seafood sampler with my friend. The sampler included grouper, salted fish, conch and seafood mixture - all delicious! We also had option for side - I had red beans and rice with salad - outstanding. Portions are generous and definitely could have taken home leftovers. Saw a few locals come in and get take out. Only regret was we only ate there one day, since we were busy exploring island. On my next visit, I definitely go more than once. Definitely favorite meal while on island.

had lunch (not open @ dinner time) at this remarkeble covered market place, several stalls/restaurants, all local dishes & products, do not expect classy surroundings, food very very tasty, soft drink and beer, thats it, matching friendly service as well as pricing, if you are interested in food a must have experienced, enjoy!

Grasia di Dios is definitely the highlight at Plaza Bieu. Other food stalls here lack the quality of the food Grasia offers. And the best thing at Grasia is: the charismatic maitre who explains every single dish in the best of manners. And is able to speak in most languages of the world. In short: when going to Plaza Bieu - go for Grasia di Dios (in the center of the hall).

We've been to Zus di Plaza on Tuesday. The food here was absolutely delicious and fresh made! We had the stewed beef and the stewed chicken with brown rice. The meat was very tender. Try it also with the pickled onion and chilli. As a dessert we shared the pumpkin pancakes. They were outrageous. Normally I don't like dessert but this is a must try as well as the homemade lemonade.

We stopped by for lunch and loved it! Great spot for quick and simple real local food and get a real taste of curaçao!

Something different than the normal restaurants we visited and a must if you are staying nearby Willemstad. We walked to it from the Avila hotel.

We do recommend the chicken and rice. We also had the red snaper but this was not so great.
