“Nice place”
Reviewed February 21, 2014

I like this place. You can have food there, swim, lay relax under a tree to read a book or just to relax. The kids, as longs as there is water, will have a good time. The beach is not very crowded, except on Saturdays and Sundays. Service is good but not fast. Waiters and bartenders are nice to talk to. People are polite around you. The beach itself is clean. They will charge you to use the beach and for the use of beach chairs. There is a fountain where you can wash yourself afterwards.

Place to avoid between 17.00 and 18.30 due to the insects that appears right after sunset. But nothing a got insect repellent couldn't help. Then again, when the sun is totally down, and it becomes more cooler (after 18.30), a very nice place to be....

Enjoy!

“nothing exceptional”
Reviewed February 20, 2014

Food for my wife and I was good (both got shrimp dishes) and reasonably priced. Service was a bit slow and unorganized - we were there after sunset, so they were not excessively busy.

“Great place, perfect location”
Reviewed February 16, 2014

The location of Pirate Bay is amazing, right on the beach with a great view. The atmosphere is great, and staff was super friendly. I ordered the prawns, which I'd definitely recommend just as I would recommend Pirate Bay itself!

“Great place for slow pace”
Reviewed February 16, 2014 via mobile

Went here with some friends during a cruise stop. They had some food and loved it. I sat on the beach for a few hours, snorkeled for an hour, and loved every minute of it. Beautiful, clear water; pretty good snorkeling; and a calm beach atmosphere. Reasonably priced, as well. Something like $5(US) to get in, no beach vendors, and a fairly friendly restaurant staff. They're great about calling a taxi for you when it's time to go.

“Nice location on the water”
Reviewed February 15, 2014

The location is great. Some tables are right on the beach looking over the bay and ocean, others are elevated on decks under a thatched roof hut. The food here was better than expected. We dined her for dinner 2x during our week on the island. Both times we were pleased with our food. The ribs and the tuna salad were the best items we had. This place is a little pricey for what it is but on par with the island dining prices. The service unfortunately is terrible as the food and abiance is good.
