Today we went here for the first time, just to test out their Vegetarian Loempia.
It was great!
good atmosphere, great service, good vibe, Buddhas allaround, jazz music.

But, the only bad side was that the waitress does not understand Papiamentu that good, and was replying in spanish when we speak papiamentu to hear.
But she was very friendly, and served us very well.

We were pleasantly surprised by the food and prices at this restaurant. Originally we ordered a "sampling" menu of many Indonesian dishes, which was a great way to try the foods here for a first time. Everything was good and the price was reasonable. The second visit we shared a few small plates and a dessert which we also enjoyed. The wine prices are very fair and the view is wonderful. My only suggestion would be that since plain rice is such a low-cost side dish, a spoonful could be offered along with the various sate just to round out the plate. Wish we could have gone back one more time for the buffet.

This restaurant looks lovely. We live nearby and have small children so we decided to try it first by ordering takeaway. We ordered the classic dishes, nasi goreng and bami goreng. Both were totally inedible. The rice smelt too bad to eat, and the noodles left a nasty aftertaste in the mouth. The egg ontop wasnt even cooked properly. We wont be visiting again.

Dear Guest, We regret that your experience was a bad one. We dont recall you taking the food out and we regret it that you did'nt call us to discuss your experience. It is very, very difficult for us to comment or defend us against reactions of people that took our food. We know that the big majority of our guest is more then happy and we are sure that a lot of people had the same nasi and bami that you had the same day in our restaurant. If you would have dined in our restaurant our staff could have helped you with your complains and give you the necessary explanation. Do you know that Indonesian restaurants use Trassie? That the Trassie (shrimppaste) gives a special taste to the fried rice?

We stayed at the Marriott nearby and this restaurant was recommended by them. After looking at the reviews, I noticed a difference between 2012 and 2013. Much improved. Maybe a new owner? We gave it a try and were not disappointed. Great ambiance sitting outdoors. The owner waited on us. The food was very good and, for Curaçao, they actually had some decent French wines.

Indonesian food. It can be spicy, but you can tone it down to your liking. I ha d Sea Bass with veggies and it was very good. The waiter provide us with several sauces at different spicy temperatures so we could choose. He indicated they had removed a few items as they were too hot.
I would return.
