This was mine and my husband's first experience with Indonesian food. We noticed the restaurant on our drive to downtown Wilmestad, as we were leaving the Marriott Beach Resort and Casino. It looked promising, sitting all picturesque on top of a hill and overall, we were pleased with our experience. There were a variety of dishes to chose from, but we ended up going with the Sunday buffet (which was reasonably priced), so we could try a little of everything. The food was hot and flavorful. There were only a few dishes we truly enjoyed, but we just aren't familiar or accustomed to Indonesian food. I'm certain that among more familiar palates, all the dishes would be considered exceptional.
The service was very slow, even though the place was about 1/4 full, but that seems to be a trend among restaurants in Curacao. However, the staff was very friendly, the view was great, and the prices are reasonable. It's definitely worth a try if you're an adventurous eater or a lover of Indonesian food!
