The fort is beautifully recovered to make a mall by the Reinassance people. Has a couple of restaurants but it still needs many stores and restaurants to open. The views are amazing and it makes a nice sunset visit.

“Good view”
Reviewed November 21, 2012

It's a palce to walk and be save. Don't need to look behind you. More tourism than people from Curaçao. You get a nice view of Punda from the top of the bulding. We really like it

“Commercialised precinct”
Reviewed November 13, 2012

A collection of restaurants (menus limited to chicken, steak and ribs) and overpriced shops, with a casino. Appealing to the cruise crowd perhaps as is near where the ships dock. Imaginative use of the old fort walls but many of the units were not taken which is perhaps a comment.

“Try the ice-cream shop”
Reviewed November 12, 2012

They serve the best (and cheapest) ice cream. Much better than Ben & Jerry on the square at the back of Willemstad. Try their coffee ice cream - it's excellent. They have tables on the small square inside the fort.
