“Prime Quayside Watching”
Reviewed March 9, 2014

This is a seriously cool bridge to watch. There are not many bridges that have a boat engine, and swing open and closed multiple times per day. Sometimes it opens all the way to allow ocean-going vessels to pass, and sometimes it opens only part way, to let small sailing boats and fishing skiffs to pass. We enjoyed sitting at a quayside cafe and watching it light up in technicolor at night.

“Visit at night”
Reviewed March 8, 2014

Looks much better at night when the lights are on. Try to see the beach when they open it to let the boats pass.

“ROCKY WALK ON THE PONTOON BRIDGE”
Reviewed March 6, 2014

WILLEMSTAD swing bridge between OTRABANDA and PUNDA, Curacao. Waterside cafes to watch loads of water traffic between Willemstad and Panama, the rest of the Caribbean and the Americas.

“Punda to Otranbanda and back...”
Reviewed March 2, 2014

We took a nice promenade across the bridge to do some sightseeing and local colour. The port was busy and 2 or 3 cruise ships dock daily in port to take in the view and to do some local shopping.

“Amazing”
Reviewed March 1, 2014

I've never seen a bridge like this before. It is basically floating, it opens side ways, people can be on it while it is moving. It provides a nice walk to the town.
Definetely worth the visit.
