“Cool Attraction”

Can honestly say I have never been on a bridge like this before. It is a foot bridge that floats on the water and opens and closes with little warning so you will often catch people running to get to the other side. Probably wouldn't see a bridge like this in the U.S.

“Fun to see in Willemstad!”

Was fun to see the bridge-- especially when it opens!! Took a shuttle to downtown Punda and did some shopping too. Highly recommend!

“Fun for sightseeing when you are in town”
Reviewed August 28, 2013

Take a stroll across the bridge and take a waterfront seat at the Iguana restaurant. Order a few cold ones and watch the action! You will see the bridge swing open and shut to make way for the pilot boats bringing in and taking out huge freighters and other vessels. If the bridge is open when you want to go back, you can just jump on one of the free ferry's to take you back. A fun way to people watch and relax!

“One of the coolest things I have ever seen”
Reviewed August 27, 2013

We walked over the floating bridge one evening to get from Punda to the Renaissance. We had never heard of the bridge before our visit, so we had no idea how it opened. A booze cruise was coming back and we got to the see the bridge open. It was so awesome!! A must see while in Curacao.

“Fun to be on a pontoon bridge”
Reviewed August 24, 2013

The bridge blocks the harbor, and so opens by swinging to let ships and boats in. Walking across is walking on a boat.
