A tourist favorite, the floating and moving bridge that connects Punda and Otrobanda. Don't worry if it closes (or opens?), you now get the chance to either stand on it for the duration. Or you can take the free ferry. Either way, it means a ship is coming in or going out.

I've never seen a bridge like this and it was very interesting to watch. We enjoyed watching it open and close during our visits to Punda/Otrabanda. Very fascinating!

Cool to see, but not a must see. It's even cooler to be on it as it's swinging open. Nice view of both sides from there.

The water was a little rougher than usual when we were there so it was fun to walk across. We loved watching the bridge move for the big ships.

Very cool bridge that is an alternative to a drawbridge. They simply push it out of the way when boats need to come through. It is very cool to walk across it as it bobs up and down in the water!
