We visited the caves with 6 friends- our guide had an excellent knowledge but was funny as well. We had great fun whilst learning about history of the island. the cave is beautiful. something different after a week on a beach

We visited the Caves on our last day in Curacao after checking out of our hotel and before our flight. (The caves are right across the street from the airport.). I'm so glad we took the time to go, because these above ground caves are very unique! The short walking trail and guided tour are well worth your time!

My daughter and I really enjoyed our tour of Hato Caves. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, and the caves are a sight not to be missed.

One step at a time, 47 steps, slowly to the entry to the Hato Caves we went. Yes it's hot and yes you will perspire, BUT, you will see sights inside the caves that make you believe that you were instantly teleported to some strange alien planet. The interior of the caves is one of the most amazing things you will ever see.

You must be fairly mobile and there is some need to lower one's head a few times here and there, but the stone formations that created stalagmites and stalactites are awesome. Towards the end of the tour, you will be allowed to take a few photos where there is an open portal that the resident fruit bats use for their comings and goings. Don't worry, they won't bother you!

We had an excellent guide who was informative and polite. You won't see a sight like this just anywhere. I repeat, it's worth the climb.

A little hot but they have done a great job with fans and a nice pathway in the caves. The Virgin Mary formation is amazing, but make sure you have a long lens to get a decent image.
