“Could be so much better”
Reviewed January 17, 2013

The restaurant was fairly full when we got there, we were offered a table in the courtyard but advised that there wasn't much they could do if it rained as they were full inside and on the covered (coveted) balcony. We decided to risk it as everything looked really nice and as it turned out it didn't rain!

Our starters were both very good - I had some stuffed mushrooms and my partner had smoked salmon. The mains were however, disappointing and didn't live up to the promise of the starters. I had spaghetti which was uninspiring and my partner had a steak which turned out not to be the best cut and a bit gristly.

The service was a little bit sketchy and we did have to ask for another glass of wine a couple of times, but they were by this time pretty much full. Also after a time you just get used to service being slow in Curacao, however, this is also an opportunity for someone to knock spots off the other restaurants by offering top notch service.

The setting for this restaurant is great and with a bit of work on the menu and the service it could be much much better.

“Mixed emotions”
Reviewed January 16, 2013

Visited this restaurant one evening whilst on holiday November 2012. There's a lovely terrace area at the front at the restaurant although reservations are definitely required if you want a table there!! We were advised we could wait for a table, went for a drink in the small bar area, nice views over the water towards the bridge. After a visit to the restrooms (at the far end of the outside garden area) I noted that there were several tables free, so my husband asked why we were still waiting, immediately a table was found in the garden area thus we deduced that we had been overlooked (husband not impressed).

Garden area is lovely, and the food (when it arrived) was really nice however once again we were forced to ask what had happened to our drinks order and again it seemed we had been forgotten (by this time husband really not impressed)

We had two different waitresses and although very pleasant the service was patchy, which is a shame as the location, ambience and food are lovely.

“Best restaurant in 2 weeks of vacation!”
Reviewed January 14, 2013

The owner of the vacation villa we rented recommended this restaurant and we were not disappointed. There were six of us and everyone's meal was wonderful. Like most Caribbean places, service was a bit on the slow side, but being on vacation, no one was in a rush!

“Great View - Not Sure About The Food”
Reviewed January 14, 2013

Had the hotel make reservation for family of 4 @ 7:30PM- when we got there we were told that they only have two sittings for dinner (6 & 9PM) probably hotel's fault . We were able to get in but were told had to be done by 9PM. - that's a strike. Strike Two - limited menu; Strike Three - only offering 2 sitting times tells me the food is substaincially pre-prepared - like a wedding in a catering hall. But the view is great on the balcony.
