There are various places you can eat at Plaza Bieu, but Zus di Plaza is the best. They have various local dishes of which you want to try them all, after having your first. Something you should not miss out on when eating there is the arepa di pampuna. A pumpkin pancake that is simply delicious and only costs about 1 dollar.

This open-air cafeteria gives you a taste of EXACTLY what Curacao is all about: Friendly people, tons of fresh food, and a local atmosphere! Get the snapper and tutu!!

Plasa Bieu, in Punda, Willemstad is the place to sample the local cuisine (kriyoyo) of Curacao. This open air (covered roof) multi- stall restaurant is anchored by the Queen of Cuisine, Yvonne. Enter Plasa Bieu from the Post Office side of the building and Yvonne is the first stall on your left. Soon as I walked in, I recognized Yvonne (A YouTube star!) and said “Yvonne…I traveled from the states to sample your food”. With a big smile and no hesitation, she said, “sit”...time to eat! Yvonne is assisted by the “in charge” Stephanie, gracious and with a great sense of humor; she’s cool! Check out the hand written on cardboard menus just to say you did. More important though is to peer into those gigantic pots and smile. Yvonne and Stephanie will know what you want. I ordered the huge and very fresh red snapper. Other great dishes are kabritu (stewed goat and really anything in those giant pots! get there early! (11;30 am-12;30 pm ..'cause you don't want to hear the words, finished!.no more! All meals around $12 US ,including a beverage

The fried red snapper was great. The okra soup was okay, partially because they had throw in various meats that just didn't marry well. Same with the cactus soup. The restaurant was dirty, the cooks were not very sanitary... Overall an okay place with amazing fresh and local fish.

This place is amazing!!!!! Only open from 12 - 2 PM. You must eat here at least once. True local cuisine and cooking. Picnic style eating. Zus di Plasa is the number one spot to eat amongst the businesses.
