Owner description: Add this once-in-a-lifetime golf experience to your “must play” list located within the Santa Barbara Planation. Designed by the legendary golf architect Pete Dye, the par 72 Old Quarry Golf Course draws its name from the historic quarries where famed Curaçao marble is mined. If you’re looking for a phenomenal getaway, our golf course is the perfect choice. Pete Dye's championship seaside layout was designed to fit seamlessly into the islands's hills and valleys. A challenge to players of all skill levels, the course meanders between the stunning blue Caribbean Sea, the slopes and hills of the Tafelberg Mountain and the sheltered bay known as Spanish Water. To assure it would be built true to the conservation principles of Santa Barbara's owners, Pete Dye's son P.B.Dye along with the Golf Manager, Jim Bolinger, planted its fairways and greens with the hearty Paspalum grass, which can be irrigated using both brackish and recycled water. A handsome clubhouse and restaurant answer golfers' needs and provide a spectacular view of the Caribbean Sea.

Very fair and reasonably priced for a resort course. But regardless how you play, the views are breathtaking and well worth the time/money spent. There was never a hold up and we played in less than 3 1/2 hours. Suggestion...be selective on your tee blocks and you will have a better game and more enjoyable experience!

Played the Old Quarry 5 times during Christmas holidays 2013. Two tough starting holes dead against the wind with the beautiful turquoise sea alongside. Remaining holes have interesting elevation changes for this island. Pick any of the 5 tee boxes to make it as challenging as you like. Fairways and greens were in mint condition with spectacular views on many holes. Pro shop staff were very friendly. If you get a chance while in Curacao the Old Quarry is a must play. Bring your A game and enjoy the Pete Dye designed jewel. Bill A.

Played 6 days in a row first thing in the morning Jan 12-17th. Three times as a single and twice with Antonio (great guy) who saw me Ace the 13th hole playing super tough on Jan 15/14 one of the greatest days of my life.
Awesome course with Pete Dye making very hole great. I have played all over the USA and all over the Caribbean and this one is ranked right up there.
Staff was the best and the greens were perfect. Nobody on the course and but needed some grass in certain spots.
Just over an awesome course
Still a must play!!! Peter J from Winnipeg, Mb. Canada

Haven't been back to Curacao since this course opened and it is definitely a step up from Blue Bay (not to say that there aren't a few good holes there). Only a few holes directly on the ocean but plenty of excellent views of the bays and the rock formations that are spectacular. Can be windy at times, as is expected on this island. Found it to be a good challenge and unlike many courses in the Caribbean there are significant elevation changes which added to the difficulty and fun. Was on a cruise and played Tierra Del Sol in Aruba the next day and that still has a slight edge due to the fantastic views on the front 9, but this is a solid golf course and worth playing multiple days if you're staying in Curacao (particularly if you're at this resort since it's a hike from anywhere else on the island).

My partner played a lot of golf courses all over the world and in his opinion Old Quarry was one of the best!
We enjoyed every hole, course is in great condition and views are breathtaking.
The clubhouse is also wonderful and we are coming back!
