Owner description: Add this once-in-a-lifetime golf experience to your “must play” list located within the Santa Barbara Planation. Designed by the legendary golf architect Pete Dye, the par 72 Old Quarry Golf Course draws its name from the historic quarries where famed Curaçao marble is mined. If you’re looking for a phenomenal getaway, our golf course is the perfect choice. Pete Dye's championship seaside layout was designed to fit seamlessly into the islands's hills and valleys. A challenge to players of all skill levels, the course meanders between the stunning blue Caribbean Sea, the slopes and hills of the Tafelberg Mountain and the sheltered bay known as Spanish Water. To assure it would be built true to the conservation principles of Santa Barbara's owners, Pete Dye's son P.B.Dye along with the Golf Manager, Jim Bolinger, planted its fairways and greens with the hearty Paspalum grass, which can be irrigated using both brackish and recycled water. A handsome clubhouse and restaurant answer golfers' needs and provide a spectacular view of the Caribbean Sea.

I would highly recommend playing this beautiful course. My husband and I played 18 on 5/15/13 and enjoyed the SPECTACULAR views (bring your camera). I WISH we had kniwn about the package. The woman who scheduked our tee time failed to inform us of the package, which would have afforded us the opportunity to play at least 3 times. If you do not use the package, pay fees and rent clubs, be prepared to spend a minimum of 200.00 each for 1 round of golf. Unfortunately, we found out about the package our last full day when I decided to bring bak a souvenir visor. I WISH the young lady who helped me then had booked our tee time---again, for a little bit more, we could have played 3 times and not 1. DO play this course...novice, experienced or low handicap golfer, this is a MUST PLAY!! We will play on vacation next year (yep, we love Curacao and the Santa Barbara that much), we will get the package.

Husband loved it. Said it was one of the prettiest golf courses (and challenging) he has played. Note: He has played at St. Andrews in Scotland, etc.

The course is beautiful and easy to play. The refreshments cart comes by just enough to not let you dry out. But renting a set and buying golf balls is expensive. Bring your own!!

Tip: Try the evening package at half price

The golf course is located on the Hyatt property and its surrounding plantation, a beautful spot. The girl in the pro shop was very nice and helpful. The fee, although high, including a golf cart.
