Skipper Steve and his crew were amazing hosts. Did their best to make sure everyone was able to see local wildlife while we were snorkeling. All you can drink & tasty food!

Had an exceptional time on this tour. The caves were awsome to see and learn about. We seen some bats flying around which was great to see them in a natural habitat. Swimming with the turtles topped this off what a great experience. They came so close and we seen some large turtles. Our guide for the tour was fantastic lisa told us so much about the ilsland. I will reccomened this tour to friends and family.

We booked this day trip through a Bounty Adventures booth that was at our resort. The flyer was simple enough. Day trip to an island for a day of exploring, snorkeling and a gorgeous beach. The flyer even said as plain as day "Snorkeling Equipment Provided". The flyer also mentions breakfast and lunch are included.

So we booked it and we were off the next morning.

We got picked up by a fun bus, which made a few more stops at other resorts to pick up others for the same trip. We ultimately arrived at the marina, and went through the check-in process. Simple enough. We met the captain (Captain Frits) and crew (very friendly and fun group), Boarded the catamaran called Jonalisa, and we were off.

I'll get into the lunch further in this review, but just an FYI about the breakfast. If you're expecting a full on eggs/bacon/pancakes/waffles type deal, you will be sorely disappointed. Breakfast is cheese, and cheese/deli meat as sandwiches in rolls. It makes sense, as you'd likely be puking up all over the place if you set sail after a heavy breakfast.

The trip to the island was pleasant. The weather was gorgeous and the sea was relatively calm. We hung out near the bow and got splashed with sea water now and then from the waves.

The trip to the island was much quicker than the advertised 1.5 hr duration. Once we anchored, guests had the option to just dive into the turquoise blue water and swim ashore, or get ferried to the beach via a skiff.

Once ashore, My wife and I, along with a few other guests asked one of the crew when they would hand out the snorkeling gear. His face grew legitimately concerned as he tells us that we had to ask for it at check in.....WHAT? One of the other guests thankfully had a copy of the flyer that said equipment is provided, with no mention that guests has to actually ask for them in advance. He told us that he had been with Bounty Adventures for over 4 months and not once has this come up. He said all the flyers are supposed to mention that guest need to ask for gear at check in. He was legitimately upset and apologetic about the situation and took our hotel info down, so that the office could get rid of the old flyers at the location. He then said he would talk to the captain to see what could be done to remedy this, as we told him that if we knew this from the get-go, we would have asked immediately or at least purchased our own gear prior to the day of the excursion.

As it turned out, there were only 3 reserve snorkel masks/breathers on the ship with no way of getting more, so they had to be SHARED among 7 people.

That was the only sour note of the trip.

The beach was gorgeous. My wife and I saw a couple of sea turtles while snorkeling.

We walked out to the lighthouse at the center of the island and took some photos, then made our way to the rusted hulk of the shipwrecked cargo vessel that has been sitting there for 60 years and took a few more photos. NOTE: If you plan on walking around the island, consider that while it is flat, the ground is rough. I recommend at the very least that you bring comfy footwear like rugged sandals or hiking shoes, as flip flops will not cut it!

The island used to be populated by birds and people, but is mainly populated by lizards now, and dotted with fossilized coral. I asked one of the crew about the coral, and he said that many sections of the island used to be underwater before plate shifts and volcanic activity pushed those sections above sea level.

We saw some tiny hermit crabs on shore and a couple of big ones. One was golf ball sized and the other almost tennis ball sized.

There was a BBQ lunch served aboard the Jonalisa at 12:30pm consisting of pasta salad, coleslaw, tuna salad, BBQ ribs, BBQ chicken and burger patties. They had this REALLY good peanut sauce that was amazing.

As of 12:00 noon, the full bar was open with complimentary drinks....Niceeeeeee!

We set sail back to Curacao around 3:30pm and were back at the marina before 5:00pm. We then boarded the bus and were taken back to our respective hotels/resorts.

We enjoyed the tour a lot. It is a great way to see many places on the island during one day, e.g. the liquor factory, national park Shete Boka, Grote Knip, the salt lakes with flamingos...Our tour guide Gisella was knowledgable and funny. Thanks for the nice experience!

Our driver was Gisella. She was friendly and knowledgeable. Provided entertaining and interesting monologue of tour information during driving portions of tour. All 3 beaches were beautiful. Tour offered use of snorkel equipment and provided a bottle of cold water at the last stop. My only regret was that there wasn't enough time at the Playa Lagun stop to both snorkel and eat lunch. I would have liked to rearrange the order of the stops so I could have done both at that stop since that beach was so beautiful. Restaurant at Playa Lagun was also interesting for it's resident iguana population. Be sure to take singles and other small bills. Some beaches charge for use of lounge chairs and/or umbrellas. Some even charge to use bathroom or shower.

My wife and I booked this for our honeymoon, and had a great time. Unfortunately, the weather was rainy/windy (only day it rained the entire trip!), so we were unable to fully enjoy everything that Klein Island had to offer. With that said, the staff were all great and made the best of everything. We were still able to snorkel for a bit and saw some awesome fish.

The ride out was extremely rough with a few passengers feeling sick. I think it may have been worse than usual due to the weather, but come prepared. We had a great time during lunch and the open bar was great. Trip back was smooth sailing and lots of fun. The caption even took us through this beautiful inlet, as we were running early and he wanted to ensure we got the most of our trip.

Highly recommend- but try to schedule for a day with nice weather if possible!!! Hope to go back someday and see more of the island.

The driver/guide was proud of the island. She was knowledgeable, entertaining and engaging with all clients. Bounty Adventures did a great job with pickup times and getting people back to their hotels at expected times

We booked as a private tour for a group of 24, including two children. We had a blast. The tone of the trip was set right when where met at the hotel by a brightly colored, open air bus called “La Cucaracha”, fun ride! There was some lag time after we arrived at the Pirate restaurant and before we could board the Catamaran. After that it was smooth sailing. For us it was the right combination of some site seeing from the water, 2 snorkle stops and a delicious lunch. Captain Steve and crew provided great service, information and guidance. We had a blast and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
