An off the beaten path place that serves local cuisine lije goat, salted cod and tutu (a marvelous combination of black eyed peas, cornmeal, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg). They are only open for lunch and close promptly at 3:30. The service is slow but the wait is worth it.

Our driver took us here for lunch for true, local food. I had the local fried fish and it was really tasty. My daughter had steak so nothing truly local about that. My husband had shrimp in a very nice sauce - also tasty. Our driver convinced us to try some of the local side dishes like cornmeal mixed with beans, sugar and cinnamon - I believe it was called tutu and it was terrific! We were there during the week and it was not busy but I understand it is packed with local people on the weekends. Service was a bit slow so be prepared to wait. Glad we came here and experienced a real 'taste' of Curacao!

The restaurant is very basic, family owned, delicious and amazing fresh fish without the tourist prices!! Must visit when in curaçao! It's on the way to the natural beaches in Banda Bo..

If you want to experience the local dishes (which you should!) when visiting the west of the Island this is the place to go! During the week you will often see tourists visiting this restaurant but in the weekends it's often packed with locals, so this means GOOD FOOD!

My favorite is the Karni Stoba (stewed beef) but you will also like the other dishes. Enjoy!!!

We visited this restaurant as part of our West Beach-hopping Tour with Irie Tours. The food and service was wonderful. Such a lovely setting to enjoy a mid-day meal that was very tasty and a good value. We were only on Curacao for a day, via a cruise stop, but we're so happy we got to enjoy a taste of the local fare and hospitality. Great experience.
