We chose this beach because alot of the local Dutch people recommended it. We were staying at the Royal Aquarium so the drive was approximately 50 minutes. We arrived at approximately 11:05 am and most of the huts and shaded areas were already taken. However we did manage to find a shady area by the trees. Getting there was a little bit of a challenge but we did make it after making a couple of wrong turns. They charge you 10 dollars, (Dutch) to get in per car and the chair rental is $3.00 . The water is very clear and there was an abundance of fish and we even met some divers from Texas who saw a sea turtle near the drop off. We did have a couple of orders of French fries and a cheeseburger at the grill and it was pretty good. Make sure you pack a cooler with a lot of drinks, sunscreen and water shoes if you have them, getting in and out of the water was a little challenging with all the rocks and slippery stones. Overall we all enjoyed it and would definitely would go back and recommend it to all beach lovers like us.
