“Mambo Beach is Social”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 20, 2013

I went to Mambo Beach, after visiting Curacao a few times. Mambo is laid back with various Restaurants & bars tiki bars pool bars etc. The entry fee is minimal around $3-4 USD. Clean beach with chairs and sun beds available for rent. Has a nice youthful vibe not readily seen on the island. It has a nice mix of locals and tourists. More of a singles/couples scene. It has an almost beach/club scene similar to a Nikki Beach. Prices are consistent with other areas on the island. If this sounds like something you would like I highly recommend Mambo Beach.

“If you are looking for paradise, go elsewhere.”

We went here upon the recommendation of the woman at the information booth outside our cruise ship. She told us the other beaches were "too far". This place is disgusting. It is a man made beach with very little beach. The ocean is a man-made lagoon and smells like fish. We left after 15 minutes.

“Seaquarium Beach/Mambo Beach”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 17, 2013

I visited this beach last year on a tour, but I only had time to walk around a little. On our recent cruise stop this year I wanted to visit this beach once again. We used the local van/bus to get to the Seaquarium. I think it was around $3 fare one way for the two of us. We were dropped off at the Seaquarium and entered the beach from there, We walked along walkway until just before Mambo Beach where we were approached to pay the entry fee and chair rental fee. I found the fees to be very reasonable considering that there is a shower available on the beach and changing facilities/restrooms nearby. We were next to the Aloha Beach Bar, so we had the local beer while relaxing on the beach. We also obtained food from the Aloha Beach Bar. We opted for the local fare and found all of it delicious and very reasonably priced. I found it easy to enter the water and did not encounter rocks/glass.. If you have small children, this would be an ideal beach, as the jetty protects the beach from large waves. My husband prefers a pool to the ocean, but he was comfortable on this beach. We only spent about 2-3 hours at the beach as we wanted to do some shopping as well. It was very easy to catch the bus/van back to town. We really enjoyed our afternoon at Seaquarium Beach and look forward to stopping here again on our next visit.

“Nice but crowded and pay a fee”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 12, 2013 via mobile

Visited mambo beach while on a tour and again at night. It's got food and bars which are very high priced. It's really an upscale area sorta resort like but packed with people. The waters are calm and warm for swimming.

One of my favorite beaches in Curacao! Very modern, fun, with great tasty food! Loved little mall on the beach. people are friendly.
You can see a lot of different beautiful fish if you swim behind the stones, that cover the beach, that makes the water nice and calm.
