A staff member from our hotel recommended this restaurant to us. It's off the strip, about a 5 minute walk through a residential area in Veradero. This affluent community has converted one of it's old homes into this great restaurant. It has both inside and outside seating areas, the staff is wonderfully friendly, and the chef cooks in an old-school domestic kitchen - fitting with the house. During the one week we were in Cuba, we visited this restaurant twice. Both times we ordered the Lobster specials - 2 lobster tails, 2 salads, 2 alcoholic drinks (mohitos), 2 coffees, and 2 desserts = $44 CUC (tax/tip included). Besides the amazing price, one of the best aspects is that it's out-of-the-way and therefore less busy. We were able to have a cozy dinner in the heart of Veradero! Awesome!
