We wanted a place to go for our last night of honeymoon and our rep recommended this place.
We had a quite table in the corner and enjoyed some of the biggest portions we've ever had
really tasty fresh food and crazy value for money!
We had a jug of sangria, fondue for 2 and a massive paella full of fresh seafood for
$CUC 50 - That's like £30 ish
Very much worth a visit -go to the Calle 62 and Beatles bar after too!

Our taxi driver reserved a table here for us en route! Fish was lovely and service great! Guitarist playing power ballads added to the mood. Nice one!

My husband and i with 4 friends went to this restaurant late eve 11/5 we got a taxi from our hotel asking driver to take us to the best restaurant in Varadero he took us to Varadero 60. Whilst there we had a nice evening, service & atmosphere was good, food (5 of us had chicken & beef combo) & drinks tasted nice so we all left satisfied leaving a large tip although one of our male friend said he wasn't feeling too good but we thought he was just very full. We all went straight back to hotel & shortly after we went back to our rooms we all fell severely ill. I started having stomach cramps even before I got back to my room then following severe V&D and the stomach pain was unbelievably bad. This all also happened to my husband and 3 others of our party we all had chicken & beef but the 6th person had seafood & thankfully wasn't sick like the rest of us. Five of us had to get medical assistance and one girl ended up in hospital. We had a week left of our holiday when this happened but this was ruined because we were all still feeling ill and even not too good when we got home to our respective countries last weekend. We definitely know we got food poisoning at this restaurant because we were never sick from our hotel RH and days prior to this we all went on an excursion to Habana for few days & catamaran trip & were never ill.
I don't like leaving negative reviews and never have before but people need to be aware of the chance they are taking as I would not wish anyone to be ill like we were and if it was a child or elderly person who got this Food poisoning it could be fatal!!!

Four of us went in to Varadero 60 after hearing about it from other guests at our hotel. We went at around 3 in the afternoon so were not super hungry or we would have ate more. We had chicken golden blue which was excellent! the best thing I ate in Cuba. Also the chicken salad, minestrone soup, and a few different pastas. Everything was very good. Really liked the soup. The presentation of the food was excellent as well. They even had coors light beer and real clamato juice for ceasars, but we stuck to the cristal beer because we really liked it. Our server was first class! We got the bill and felt very guilty that we got meals and drinks for four and our bill was only $59.50 CUC!!

We spent 7 days and tried a lot of restaurants and Varadero 60 was number two on our list and I have to say it was a very close call. We ate here last year and we were not disappointed. Food and service was excellent. My wife has a gluten allergy and they were very accommodating. It was a very close toss up between Varadero 60 and Salsa Suarez and you can't go wrong with either one. We will definitely return
