Hotel Los Delfines made my first trip to Cuba a great experience. The hotel is situated RIGHT on the beach (only steps away from our room). The beach is beautiful and not crowded at all. To my surprise, the food tasted quite good. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly, especially the one who took us snorkelling. The only problem we experienced with our room is that the AC started leaking at night. We told the front desk about it and they immediately sent someone over to fix it. However, it started leaking again after a few hours. It wasn't a huge problem though. Overall, Delfines is not a luxury hotel but I had a comfortable stay there. I would highly recommend this hotel to people who want to be super close to the beach :)

Ended up spending a week here that wasnt planned. Hotel was ok, paid 17 CUC a night but at high season they charge 80 which is way too much. Good location for the beach, although with heavy rains the corridors flooded. Bar staff were fine although they did close at 5, probably because of low season. Perfect location for the beach, although the security were slightly off putting, especially to the girl I was travelling with. Good location for the bus station, and for most things in Varadero. Dont go there expecting luxury and dont go there during high season. Dont go to Varadero expecting to see original Cuba, its a tourist trap but the beach is spectacular, and I would highly recommended the skydiving centre there.

I stayed here with My Two Sons aged 1 1/2 And 9!! It was a nice end To a week or so of travelling round Cuba. Kids Loved it, especially my eldest Son. He liked the all exclusiveness!! Drinks And food on tap. But food from bar was lited And often run out, same with drink-especially the alcoholic drinks. Meal time food kinda the same every time, not great either-but the food in general in Cuba is not great!!
Perfect location as We couldn't carry our bags in the heat any fearther from The bus station. Nice walk To Zoo And Shopping. Perfect for watching The Carnaval And near main square.
Beach was amazing And We had our own deck chairs. It was so close (down stone stairs).
A taste of Paradise, pure sand, warm clear sea, cocktails by pool!!

Los Delfines is a all-in hotel for a reasonable price. The pool is very nice, the rooms are okay, but the clients are terrible and they don't bring out the best of the nice Cuban bartenders.
Because the drinks are all included most people start to drink alcohol early morning, they don'speak any Spanish but hell if you can order your drink and find the bathroom who cares like one of the Canadian ladies told me!
And of course they all put their towel on the beach chairs when they go breakfast and occupy all the beach chairs all day and don't you even look at a chair.
Food was lousy.
Beautiful beach

We arrived during the spring break, the receptionist were very helpful and friendly. We spent four days of great service, good food and friendly atmosphere. At night they have typical Cuban music while dinning. Our teenage sons had a great time at the beach, playing pin-pong, pool swimming or just enjoying the hammock. The hotel staff were very friendly always available and willing to take care of things when needed. The rooms were very spacious and clean. We were very please with the comfort of the room furniture. At night, Luciano the hostess delighted us with daily outdoor shows starting 9:00-10:00 PM. The beach area is just stunning, the water crystal clear and security is always present and attentive. We had a great time. I am very picky when it comes to being 100% satisfied and this hotel met our demanding expectations. They have 24 hours open bar. The manager was very friendly and always available with a friendly smIle. I you want to have fun while eating please ask for Jesus and tell him that Juan and Rebecca, enjoyed his jokes.
