While in Varadero we decided to give our hotel buffet a break and hit the town for some food. We were welcomed warmly and seated right away. The menu board is all in Spanish but one of the staff members translated it for us. There is a diverse option of food. We enjoyed every thing we ordered. In general stay away from the beef in Cuba as it is not as good as the stuff we have in Canada which is some of the best in the world.

My wife and I ate lunch and supper here more than once in one month!
They have the best service/hospitality and quality of food in all of Varadero.
We highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone.
It is the only place that has Tacos with all the fixings ;)
The only Con to this place is the Menu, the menu is on a chalk board and it is in Spanish, the pro to this is the staff are very good at explaining and translating what is what.
The food is fresh and very tasty, but if you are not a salt fan make sure to warn the server no salt or if in dought order no salt and add your own.
If you go to Salsa Saurez please say Hola por mi Amigo (The bald gentelman) he makes all the desserts in house - they are very good, the Tiramisu or the Brownie are welll ummm deliciouse,
Ohh and if going please tell the lady at front door/gate with long dirty blonde hair the Tall crazy Canadian and his wife sent you.
Enjoy the food/service and atmosphere we did and will again.

They make very good food here but as a Canadian I find it difficult to interpret their menu which is written in spanish only. I had a mojito and we split an order of breaded shrimp tacos for lunch. They brought a selection of toppings such as hot sauce and guacamole. They were delicious. They also gave us a complementary shot of liquor from a bottle shaped like an Easter Island head. The prices were a little higher than last year, I think and the bill included a 10% tax with propina written after it. Not knowing what that meant I added a tip. Back at the resort I learned propina means tip so now you know.
