“Bad service, ok food”
Reviewed September 6, 2013

Service pretty terrible even on a very quiet night. Fondue 'not quite right' but a welcome change. We only realised when we paid that we'd only had a fondue for 1 person between 2 of us (my Spanish needs to improve!) but still plenty of food.

“Worst restaurant in Cuba”
Reviewed August 5, 2013

Honestly I think this place had the worst service we experienced in Cuba. The lady who served us looked and acted like she didn't want to be there. Didn't greet us, took 30mins to take our order. We were left alone that long that we said that if she didn't come back in a minute we were gone, she came back with 3 seconds left just as we were getting up. Food wasn't as bad as the service but wasn't up to much considering the food we had sampled in various other parts of Cuba during our travels.

“great meal in cuba!”
Reviewed July 31, 2013 via mobile

This is so worth it to go, everyone gets sick of eating resort food and this is such a nice break! 4 of us ate lobster, had multiple fondues and drank champagne and bottled water and left a big tip for about 90!
we were a little confused when we went, nobody even acknowledged our presence but suddenly after while showed us in, best to go earlier!

“MMMMMMmmmmm”
Reviewed April 23, 2013

We decided to try It the second last night of our stay, It was busy every night. We ordered the beef and cheese fondue and It was fantastic, we had the chocolate fondue desert as well (melted chocolate with fruit to dip In) It was also very delicious. We loved It so much we decided to go on our last night as well. We ordered the beef again, with the 2 cheese platter - we had an enormous amount of cheese on the plate (they gave us 3 cheeses) freshly baked bread - It was extremely good. We ordered the desert again - they brought It out with only 1 fruit for dipping - which they didn't charge us on the bill for because they didn't have 2 fruits. The service was extremely slow, so If your In a hurry - don't go here. The hours they were open said 12 - 11. They weren't open for lunch - they seemed to decide when they would open. Around 6 pm you are safe, after 7 In the evening It Is very difficult to get a seat. We will definitely go there again and try more, there was chicken, fish, lobster on the menu as well. It was worth the wait and both nights with drinks cost around 30 - 31 CUC (Cuban pesos).

“Hummmm !!!”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

WOW, we must have hit them on a bad day.
I see all the good reviews here and wonder what happened
when we went there. We had the cheese fondue first.
Sadly, the cheese had no taste and the bread was dry and crumbly.
So the cats and chickens got most of it.
Then we got the steaks.... not impressive either...
Here kitty kitty !! The cats got most of the steaks too.
Being right beside the main street, the noise was annoying.
Taxi horns and loud bus engines ruined any hint of atmosphere.
Maybe inside is better for street noise.
The prices were not bad. Cats and chickens were friendly.
