Crystal clear water. But not really underground. More open than I would have thought. Great for diving, swimming etc. Careful when the large tours arrive though. Hard to get up and down the stairs with people blocking the way.

I don't think it is often you can say you swam in a fresh water pool inside a cave!

It is cold, and you see super far down. Bring a GoPro if you have one! Lots of people jumping off the little cliffs inside too.

So awesome!

Well worth a visit with the jeep safari. Stunning cave with clear blue coldddd water but worth a dip even if you only test it with your toes.

We visited Saturno Cave as part of the Jeep Safari Tour. We went there as our last stop and it was perfectly timed as the afternoon was so hot and humid. We went down the steps while taking pictures of the different stalactite formations of the cave. Once we got to the bottom, we saw the crystal clear water. The water temperature was cold but it was just perfect to refresh us. There were two areas of the pool, one for just having a dip, and the other for swimming that goes as deep as 22 meters according to the sign. There was a lifeguard watching over the group as well. For non-swimmers, it would be good to bring your own life jacket so you can go to the deep end of the water. This attraction is recommended for any visit to Varadero!
