As we entered the palladar we enjoyed the nice environmet. As wee proceeded with the order we where not satisfied with the quality of wines (terrible, taste like vinegard), and the lobster was medium to poor taste and quality.
What we didn't like is that as we exited the restaurant we realized that the taxi driver that drove as there on our demand (he did not propose the restaurant, we did) took a comission in front of our eyes!
The worst part is when I returned to demand our money back for the wine we didn't drink but we were over- charged for, I took a menu from the pile next to the menus we were given and I realized that the prices were 50% lower for non- tourists!!!
The sad thing is that after discussing with the manager he admitted that they DO have different prices for tourists (double price) and that taxi drivers ALWAYS take a comission when they drive customers there. In that case (when they see tourists, or non- tourists driven there) they take out the expensive catalogue...
The lobster price for the non- tourist was 8 pesos while for tourists 15!!!
So, when you get there, beware of the taxi driver and ask for the NORMAL/ CHEAP menu!!!
