I don't know why, but I still get excited by walking down Obispo. From Floridita or Parque Central to walk towards Old Havana... gives you a great feel of the people's Cuba and what it may have been like before the revolution. Always invigorates me.

this is not a well pushed tourist stop but is a cool way to walk into a real cuban store
walk into a grocery store check and compare to back home
snap a pic and grab a keepsake

Best place to buy souvenirs in Havana, but be careful of pickpocets especially if you are single woman travelling. There will be a lot of people bothering you on the street.

very walkable from cruise. this is the place to go kinda like walking down non vehicle road looking at various shops, food, vendors. however, if want real value go to the marker which is to the left when exit cruise terminal.

The Calle Obispo is an area of shops and bars. There are always tourists in the area and as such plenty of people trying to sell you things. If you are not interested just be polite, say 'No Gracias' and they will leave you alone. Halfway along you will find a little market where you should be able to find some little odds and ends for family and friends back home at very good prices.Worth a look.

By walking this street not only do you run into tourists from all over the world, you can see the immense history of Havana from the centuries from the buildings, the squares, the streets, its truly amazing. Dont forget to go down the side streets to the many cafes and bars.

very lively and beautiful, unique just like the rest of Habana, definitely worth a visit, with a lot of little side streets worth seeing
