“Visit to Monumento Jose Marti.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 19, 2014

Visited the Jose Marti Monument on a trip to Havana in Jan/14. This is a very impressive monument to Cuba"s leader of the war against the Spanish who was killed in battle. Located in Revolution Plaza it overlooks the city and offers a wonderful view of Havana if you decide to go up the elevator to the observation level.

“Informative and beautiful display”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 10, 2014 via mobile

The monument to the Revolution houses a display on the hero of Cuba's indepenence from Spain at the end of the 19th century. The tiles and gold citations along with seating areas to contemplate the wisdom of José Marti are scattered amont the show cases of photos and historic objects. The text is in Spanish only, however. If you need a washroom they will let you in to use them.

“I wish there were a museum”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 22, 2013

I liked this place very much, just i wished they had an museum so people could get more info, and also we couldnt get close to the monument. In general the view is very nice, u can see huge portraits of che, fidel, and u can feel in the environment the meaning of the monument and the revolution.

“Another obelisk”

Obelisk at Revolution Square. Didn't go up because of time constraints, but doesn't look tall enough to give panoramic view, unless somebody knows different.
