“Paseo del Prado”
Reviewed March 24, 2013

We walked down this boulevard towards Malecon. It was Sunday and the Paseo was full of people talking, artists selling mostly pictures and a good number of what looked like workshops. You can sit and relax on one of the marble benched or just walk the boulevard and admire some of the historic buildings.

“Gorgeous Boulevard”
Reviewed March 21, 2013

Havana hangs out on this street - raised boulevard between ornate stone benches and lanterns with a backdrop of gorgeous architecture. Designed for strolling.

“great walking street”
Reviewed March 18, 2013

this street goes from the ocean up to the capital building. we walked up and down it many times, always so cool to see. there were a few hustlers and beggars, but nothing like you would see in mexico and nothing that was dangerous or uncomfortable for us.

“A bit like La Rambla!”
Reviewed March 17, 2013

Like La Rambla but much more relaxing. Some good restaurants on upper floors, lots of places to sit and enjoy, buildings to enjoy, although lots of dilapidation - that's the charm of Havana!

“Local art festival on Sat. starting about 11:00”
Reviewed March 8, 2013

The local artists display their work and music is played. Their art work is very reasonably priced.
There is jewelry also. You can sit and watch all the old cars go by, have a drink and lunch in one of the numerous outside cafes and enjoy the shading trees. They do not set up very early...I made the mistake of heading there at 9:00...too early!!!
