The concierge at our hotel recommended this restaurant - we wandered down the streets of Old Havana to get here during a heavy tropical rainstorm. It was fascinating to wander amongst the locals and see what happens during heavy rain.
We got to the restaurant safely and dry thanks to umbrellas from the hotel.
We then ascended to the 3rd floor for the grilled food. It was the same as a parilla grill for all the mains.
We had ceviche and grilled pimentos as starters and then grilled lobster tail - oh my how delicious. The lobster tail was stunningly delicious and not expensive. It was grilled to perfection and so tender and tasty.
Raoul our waiter was superb ...... he had excellent English - learnt from watching movies - and understood all the wines on their list. We had a beautiful Chilean Chardonnay which was a great match to the seafood.
My partner had a dessert of chocolate mouse with a delightful tokay.
This place is a great place to visit and enjoy the food of Havana.
