“LaLa replaces Habana Chef”
Reviewed August 11, 2013

Formerly known as Habana Chef, now it is called LaLa. The name is not so good any more, though the food and service is. Of my eight times i have been to Cuba, this is the best restaurant i have visited. In 10 days Habana this year, we went 6 or 7 times to LaLa. Staff is very helpful and service-oriented. Ernesto will show and explain you the 'mobile menu' with class and humour. Great levels of attention are given by all staff members though. Next time Cuba will definitely include a visit to LaLa again. Must go!

“Great Food right down the street”
Reviewed February 27, 2013

Upon arival in Havana the owner of our Casa walked us right to this place and sat us down. We were so tired we did not care - we had a great meal the lobster was fantastic and the seafood platter amazing. We thought all the food in Havana was going to be this good. Well after 3 nights of good food we had to go back this place was great. The service is unbeleivable too the waiterspoke perfect english and went through the entire menu with us - both very memorable meals. Would go back.

“a perfect combi with a Colon Cementary visit”
Reviewed February 23, 2013

We stayed for a week in havana at a casa particular (casavieja1840.com) and Karen, the owner, send us to this paladar. Its a bit distant from the old town but worth the ride and perfect to combine with a visit to the Colon cementary (which is deffinitely a must in Havana). The menu is unusually creative and the service great. Take the charcoal grilled baby lobster or one of the homemade pasta's as main and you won't regret it!!

“Inventive Menu and good service”
Reviewed February 21, 2013

Liked the look of the menu instantly, imaginative use of local ingredients. The service was professional, chatty and attentive. Great selection of wines too, not to mention Ron. Maybe a bit pushy on selling extras, we were only there for lunch and not into drinking a lot. Cannot match the art & interior design provided in some of Havannas newest addition to the paladares scene, but will still visit again on my next visit to Cuba
