It is situated at a central location in one of the old colonial houses, which is well cared for. A peacock and several chickens and chicklets picking food crumpets around the tables are complementing the scene. The traditional lunch menu at 14 USD including a coctail is a good value and is a way of tasting the Cuban food. As fish dishes are usually from frozen, it is better to try chicken or pork dishes. At lunch times the service can be slow. The music band in residence is also good. A visit to this place, even for a cup of coffee is a must in order to appreciate the beauty of the building where La Mina is.
