This is a great paladar located a bit off the beaten track. Like many places in Cuba, there isn't much for signage to find the place. Look for two large planters (with trees in them) infront of the driveway.
The paladar is on a huge piece of ground, not much for parking, but it looks like most people just use the grass. There are several places to sit inside the paladar, plus a large deck in the back that offers several very nice tables and patio style tables. Around the large pool are several loungers as well. Great location for a bit of a relaxation after work and before a great meal.
The food was very good. With all the paladars in Havana it is very difficult to hit them regularly, as I really don't want to end up weighing 300lbs! We went with the Ropa Viaja con arroz. This was very good and I'd highly recommend it. I've had several friends tell me that virtually everything on the menu (which had several choices) is very good.
The service was fast and very friendly.
The only negative thing we could find is that the back of the property does look a little unfinished, with just a chain link fence and grass. This doesn't take away from the great meal, but can lower the ambiance a little bit.
Overall a great paladar. We will be returning!
