This was my eighth trip to Havana, and I have stayed in many hotels, and casas. First of all Maura has a great location, quiet street, well lit, and very safe. The apartment is beautiful and impeccable clean. My bed was comfortable and bathroom very clean. Maura is a good host, the right combination of being available for help, and not always in your space. The breakfasts were by far the best I've had in Cuba. (i could drink gallons of her fresh watermelon juice)! If you have never stayed in a casa, this would be the best one to try. The space and service, and food rivalled any hotel, including the Melia Habana where I stayed last year.
