I went here on the advice of a friend of mine who lives in Havana, and was far from disappointed. Service was top-notch, and the food was very well prepared and tasty. Sadly, we were there on a rainy day, so the clear plastic screens blocked the view somewhat, but I can only imagine what a beautiful location this would prove to be on a clear, sunny day.
Now, I'm giving a 5/5 rating for what this restaurant is, rather than saying it's necessarily the best restaurant in Havana. The service is attentive and the food is good, but it's not quite up to the standard of a place like Doctor Cafe or Paladar Los Mercaderes. I still believe it deserves full marks on the basis that it's also much less expensive than those paladares, and I guarantee you'll be fully satisfied with your meal, the same way your favorite hole-in-the-wall and a fancy steakhouse back home might both earn full marks, despite being quite different.
I will definitely be coming back to this paladar; hopefully next time the weather will be better and I'll get to enjoy the view as much as I enjoyed the food.
