I truly enjoyed the lunch I had at Castropol, it was just delicious. We were there with an incredibly large group (and in our experience most places prefered we use a set menu with just a couple of options). I was so thankful they let us order off of the menu! I had the best Octopus Galliciana style that was cooked perfectly followed by a calabaza soup---which was just stunning to look at and delicious (with a lovely dill cream splashed across the bowl and crispy pancetta). The location was lovely overlooking the Malecon and the ocean. The service was a bit slow, but we were a very large group. Overall one of my favorite meals in Havana.
