Nice for dinner - has jazz guitarist! Food was great, even had gluten-free pasta! Spent a very nice evening there - highly recommend.

This is a favorite of ours and we go here every time we are on the island. They have moved to a new location on the waterfront. The building is new and the décor is somewhat minimalist. They also have outdoor seating. The wine list is marvelous and leans heavily toward Italian wines. The wine is treated with care and keep in temperature controlled facilities. The menu is diverse and somewhat innovative. The food is well prepared and attention given to presentation. Service was very good and the staff were friendly

Cappriccio is a must stop each time we visit Bonaire. Top notch Italian food, including home made pastas, fish, meats and pizzas. Menu may vary slightly according to what is available on the island and a recent special incorporated local Bonaire goat cheese. No special dietary needs in our group, but we have heard them accommodate other diners with special requests. The complimentary mimosa to start is always and nice touch. Best wine selection on the island and Lola is always ready with a recommendation, often for something just a bit different that we wouldn't have tried otherwise. Their new location has an airy inside dining space which looks into the wine storage area as well as patio seating with a view of the water.

Full disclosure: we have eaten here for almost 20 years, and thus have become friends with the owners since we live on Bonaire several months per year. That said, there is a reason we keep coming back: food and wine in an elegant and convivial atmosphere. When Capriccio first opened, we thought it was too good to be true, a serious Italian restaurant with an even more serious wine cellar on an island devoted to scuba diving and nature, and would never last. It is a testament to the enthusiasm not just of tourists but of locals that Capriccio has thrived. Here's our general mode: let Lola decide on our wine, and let Andrea decide on our meal. The rare times we order off the menu, we love the osso buco, the shrimp with endive, and the pasta maltagliati. When you come, plan on a full evening, spend some real money, enjoy the fine wines (they win Wine Spectator awards every year), and make it special (e.g., try something nicer than a tee shirt and shorts). We also buy wine from their boutique because it is reasonably priced and extremely well-cared-for (an issue in a tropical climate). The boutique sells olive oils and Tuscan olive oil-based shampoos and soaps that we stock up on since they offer brands we simply can not find in the U.S.. Their new building is fortuitously sited with a perfect ocean view, high ceilings and fairy lights, and simple yet elegant architecture. This review is based on at least 100 meals at Capriccio; our 101st is in a couple of days!

Wonderful homemade food in a very desirable setting. We walked up and got a great table watching the sunset without a reservation. The food was cooked to order and was all made from scratch. Hand made pasta can't be beat!!
