“Best sandwiches on the island! No question.”
Reviewed January 28, 2013

This new restaurant wasn't there the last time I visited Bonaire, however, I really hope it's there next time!

We randomly stumbled in here one day as our group began getting "hangry" at 4pm after doing two dives earlier in the day. We were having a hard time find lunch at this hour, but they were more than accomodating (the staff here is GREAT!!!). Don't let the location in the strip mall put you off. The fresh baked breads, incredible meat & cheese selections and homemade desserts are all worth trying.

They seem to take great care in making sure that each sandwich both a feast for the eyes and stomach. And getting a side of fries with a gourmet sandwich is always a nice touch after a day of diving.

The portions were generous, but if you arrive hangry like we did, you'll certainly devour everything - cause it's that good.

There's both indoor and outdoor seating at this small cafe and if you prefer to wash your meal down with a cold beer, you can do that as well.

Keep up the good work!!

“A great breakfast and lunch spot (North Side Surface Interval)”
Reviewed January 27, 2013

We stayed at the Sand Dollar and stopped here to eat the first day for breakfast. They opened at 8am and were close so we decided to stop in to eat. They made a great omelet with fresh bread. Since we had a great experience we decided to also try them for lunch. They also have a great lunch, Their sandwiches are fresh and delicious. We ate here a few times for lunch and it was always great. I would highly recommend the Dallas Sandwich.

“Loved the Sopranos sandwich!”
Reviewed January 26, 2013

We ate breakfast and lunch here a few times during our week long visit to Bonaire. The restaurant is in close walking distance to where we were staying at the Sand Dollar. Service was slow at the beginning of the week, but got better as the week went on. The menu has quite a list of sandwiches. The Sopranos sandwich was a favorite throughout the week. Free WiFi is available as well. Good spot!

“Nice Little Lunch Spot”
Reviewed January 20, 2013

We recently spent 9 days in Bonaire, and had lunch at Between 2 Buns. The sandwich we shared was very good, the service was excellent; very friendly. The restaurant was clean and the wi-fi was free. All in all, an enjoyable experience; highly recommended!

“OK its a deli not 5 star dining but it's a GREAT deli!”
Reviewed January 19, 2013

I was absolutely bummed when i heard Eli Deli was gone before I left for Bonaire, but sheeees back and the food is still great.

I ate here after or before my morning dive just about every day for two weeks. Good deli meats are expensive (shop in Boston's North End) but when you put them on warm fresh rolls or a baguette who cares? Plus they have a daily pate on small baguette special for 4.50$ which I think is a great deal. The sandwiches here are only about a 2$ more than our best local deli's large subs and we aren't on an island. Plus the B2B bread is much better.

The cheeseburgers are more expensive by american standards but they are equivalent with other quality restaurants and they are very good.

Some of the sandwich combos will seem strange to Americans but go ahead and try them.

So a great breakfast, good sandwich, good coffee what more could you ask for? How about home made chocolate cake the way my grandmother used to make it. OK I'll admit one day i ate the last two pieces since the cakes change from day to day.

It can get a bit backed up during peak lunch but that is the price you pay for custom sandwiches from a small shop. All the ladies who work here are super nice and they will deliver your sandwich to you at you table. I never noticed the wait since i sat down and read. I'm on vacation what's the hurry?

You can eat inside (AC) or outside though the outside dining borders a parking lot. The same car was next to my favorite seat everyday and never moved. There is a good breeze so there is no issue with smokers or exhaust.

Oh they also sell beer in case you're not diving in the afternoon.
