My husband and I have been here four times in our three trips to Bonaire. The pizza is just amazing. I've been urged to try the lasagna, but I just can't get past the pizza!
Try to go early, as the dining room fills up almost immediately. Wait times for tables can be lengthy, but worth it. The owner may have a minute or two to chat you up. He's very nice, from Buffalo, NY I think. He has a good memory, too, as he remembered us after two years. Things get very busy and hectic after 6 or so, and he works as hard as everyone he employs, which is impressive.
Be prepared to wait for your pizza. This isn't a chain that has stacks of pre-topped pizzas ready to be whisked into a high-powered 10 minute pizza oven. After about 30 minutes, you'll get a bakery-fresh pizza you'll always remember.
So, grab a drink at the bar, sit in the large open-air lobby with your friends or family, read one of the magazines, and relax, you're on vacation, and about to have a great meal!
