We found ourselves wandering around town on a Saturday night in February, discovering that lots of restaurants were closed. What a strange night for a restaurant to close!! Mona Lisa, Paradise Moon, Appetite and more were all closed, and most others were really busy because a hard rain had knocked out all outdoor tables that were not under cover.
La Guernica, one of our top choices anyway, initially had a long wait. But we walked around, and by the time we came back, the wait was pretty much over. They initially sat us on the side near a biker bar, but moved us to the waterfront within a few minutes. Service was friendly and fairly prompt, considering island time.
We enjoyed the shrimp, calamari and the goat cheese salad the most. Wine was just ok. They were nice to the kids. The view was great. All in all, we'd go back.
