La Guernica has a lovely view and a fantastic porch for its intimate dining experience. We shared the tapas menu which was varied and tasty, although a little uninspired for the price. Our wine order was forgotten, but brought after a gentle reminder. I'd definitely recommend dining here more for the view than the food - but you won't go home hungry.

NIce outdoor seating facing the sea. Good service, only had tapas and salads, all good, a bit pricey for the portions. Garlic shrimp tapas were delicious, they are a must try, enjoy!

We were able to get a table about 6:30 on a Saturday night in March with no reservations and no wait. We had originally hoped to have dinner at Unbelievable, but it is closed on Saturday. Lucky for us we had found La Guernica on TripAdvisor and had seen it earlier in the week after dining at It Rains Fishes.

We were hungry but not ravenous, as we had been eating very well all week and this was to be our last meal in Bonaire on this trip. We ordered the Tropical Fruit Salad as an appetizer, and it contained apple, melon and other fruit as well as prosciutto, with a very light melon dressing - very nice. I had two tapas for dinner - the grilled shrimp in garlic and the mushrooms in a savory blue cheese sauce. Although they seemed a bit small for the price, they were both delicious and the sauces they were in were a great match for the crusty bread service offered. I would absolutely order both again. My husband had a fish special, the sesame swordfish with rice and enjoyed every bite.

Service was the best that we had at any restaurant on the island - prompt, knowledgeable and friendly, anticipating everything we might ask for and keeping our water glasses filled. The view was lovely overlooking the sea. This was a very nice choice as a celebratory meal ending our amazing week in Bonaire. Highly recommended.

Always a good welcome; friendly service. Good choices on the menu with fresh fish always available. The chocolate mousse is delicious.

The patio seating overlooking the water and people passing by is really nice. Enjoying a good bottle of wine and selecting tapas is a great evening. Fish dishes good. Tapas nice selection. Food tasty but nothing special. Still worth the experience.
