Love the food and wine here. This is one of our favorite places on Bonaire. Call for a reservation for a table outside and bring bug spray! The menu is not extensive and it is a bit pricey, but if you want a water view and interesting dishes, this is the place. They also have a dive master night on Wednesdays with great drink specials and bar food.

We walked out the front of the Harbour Village on Sunday night only to find the Bistro de Paris bar and restaurant closed, so we had to go back Monday night. We did and enjoyed our stay. We were too early for the restaurant, so we went to the bar at 5:45pm. After playing a round of Gin Rummy, the bar tender brought out a cardgame and we all enjoyed playing it However, I can't tell you the name of the cardgame, or TripAdvisor will block this post. He joined right in with us, as did several other locals who played along. This was a card game that he brought out and suggested that we play with our teenage boys, and we all enjoyed it very much! What a great suggestion and much fun! I think we all learned something! We then went to the restaurant and enjoyed another great meal. I had the foie gras, which was melt-in-your-mouth delicious on a bed of greens. Sadly, too much greens and not enough foie gras. Everyone enjoyed our meals, (as this was a return trip for us). We ate outside along the harbor and enjoyed the evening breeze. The service was good, but not nearly as friendly as our last trip nor as friendly as the bartender. The food was plentiful and good. We all cleaned our plates after a hearty day of diving in Bonaire.

The menu in the restaurant is very limited. However, Patrice really hit it with Wed night burger night..best burgers on the island. And if you go between 5-7 it's HH. You should make reservations. New twist is Friday nights is Arepa night. It is a Venezuelan take of pita, but much better. a local Venezuelan couple sets up the grill and makes them, so it is separate from the bar. Cheap and delicious. Service needs improvement on Fri. You pay the people making the Arepas separate from anything ordered at Bistro. They need to figure that out.

I have eaten in this restaurant for many years and had many wonderful meals. Unfortunately that was not the case on my last visit.

The service was nearly non-existent. The food, when it arrived did not taste good. We went here for a lunch and while the restaurant was not busy, it took almost an hour and a half to get our meal.

I did not see Patrice, the owner, in the restaurant and that may have been the problem. I will not eat here again if he is not onsite.

The Wednesday hamburger deal at Bistro de Paris' bar is amazing. We loved the blue cheese burger at a great price of $8 and rum and coke for the price of a coke. Burger came with salad and fries. Another plus is getting to chat with the owner Patrice. You know the place is good when the owner himself is there and talking to the guests. Note, service is a little slow, but that is life on the island.
