We walked out the front of the Harbour Village on Sunday night only to find the Bistro de Paris bar and restaurant closed, so we had to go back Monday night. We did and enjoyed our stay. We were too early for the restaurant, so we went to the bar at 5:45pm. After playing a round of Gin Rummy, the bar tender brought out a cardgame and we all enjoyed playing it However, I can't tell you the name of the cardgame, or TripAdvisor will block this post. He joined right in with us, as did several other locals who played along. This was a card game that he brought out and suggested that we play with our teenage boys, and we all enjoyed it very much! What a great suggestion and much fun! I think we all learned something! We then went to the restaurant and enjoyed another great meal. I had the foie gras, which was melt-in-your-mouth delicious on a bed of greens. Sadly, too much greens and not enough foie gras. Everyone enjoyed our meals, (as this was a return trip for us). We ate outside along the harbor and enjoyed the evening breeze. The service was good, but not nearly as friendly as our last trip nor as friendly as the bartender. The food was plentiful and good. We all cleaned our plates after a hearty day of diving in Bonaire.
