“Sad excuse for a restaurant at a premier Dive /Hotel Destination”
Reviewed June 30, 2013

What a disappointing restaurant considering the diving destination it is on premise. The foods are over priced,, the service is terrible and the managers like the servers have a take what we give you service or go elsewhere attitude.
A Cesar salad with 3 shrimp and 2 diet cokes, $34. Ordered 2 burgers and it took 1 hour to get the food. When we ask about our food after 30 minutes the manager told us it would be there soon, be patient!! Problem was there was only 6 people dining at that time!
Then when checking out I was told I had a billed unsettled with the Rum Runner, my name was printed on the receipt, I did not dine there and it was not my writing! Fortunately the person checking me out 3am in the morning saw that my writing had no resemblance.
Dive with Capt. Dons for sure, eat else where. Sorry to say the owners of the restaurant need to see what is happening there or sell,it to someone interested in delivering.

“Casual Elegance on the Water”
Reviewed June 24, 2013

Rum Runners on Bonaire is simply heaven on earth. The food is good, the ambiance is just what anyone would seek on a Caribbean island. The wood fired pizza is fabulous. The crust is thin and crispy, toppings are fresh and delicious. Salads are fresh, appetizers are beautifully presented. In addition to a good menu, prices are reasonable and the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Don't miss the opportunity to have a sunset cocktail at the bar.

“Lovely atmosphere”
Reviewed June 11, 2013

We went to Rum Runners, the restaurant at Captain Don's Habitat, one night because we could walk there from our condo. The atmosphere is lovely--right on the water. The awnings overhead provide some nice shade. I ordered a margarita and received a pina colada. That was okay because I like pina coladas, although their's was icy rather than creamy. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive. The food was pretty good. We had the fish fajitas and the only reason they weren't excellent was because the mahi mahi was rather fishy tasting, which I didn't expect. A nice, laid-back restaurant for a casual dinner on the wate.

“Still one of the best”
Reviewed June 2, 2013

Rum Runners is fast, has a great menu, great prices, and great hours. This is the perfect patio lunch or dinner when you're starving from diving and want something satisfying quickly. Servers were friendly and knowledgable, and the patio has great atmosphere. Menu ranges from thin crust pizza and burgers to fresh fish.
