We went here to get certified for diving. It was an amazing experience. Devin was our guide and he was fantastic, a great teacher and fun dive buddy. We would go back in an instant

I can't say enough positive things about Dive Friends (Yellow Submarine, in particular). My instructor, Chris Sollie, was terrific given my lifelong fear of the ocean. With his guidance, I successfully completed my initial Open Water Diver certification. I went on to complete Nitrox certification, allowing me to enjoy all of the beauty that comes with diving in Bonaire. The staff are friendly and helpful, and I look forward to my next dive trip to Bonaire!

Just returned from another lovely trip to Bonaire and wanted to thank everyone at Dive Friends for their helpful service and advice.

Michael, Martin, Richard, Gordon and Alex all offered their help, whether it was to rent or sell us gear, fit our kids with wet suits or tell us the best places to snorkel.

There are lots of dive shops on Bonaire, but Dive Friends is true to their name and will always make you feel like a welcome friend.

Second year diving through Dive Friends on Bonaire. We got certified last year, and had a great experience with a truly delightful instructor who was very patient and coaxed two folks who were old enough to be his grandparents from fumbling incompetence to shore diving on their own. This year we got our advanced open water certification, including our first boat dive and night dive, and had equally positive experiences with almost all the several dive masters we worked with. (There's one guy who is very competent, but a little brusque.) One of the great things about Dive Friends is their several locations from Hamlet (north) to Port Bonaire (south) and points in between. We used all the locations at one time or another, either as the base for one of our training dives, because we had an equipment issue, or we just needed a rest room! Also having several handy spots to turn in tanks and rinse gear was a plus for us. We have only ever dived with Dive Friends, so have no point of comparison, but their prices seemed pretty competitive and they have many different price plans, from a one tank-only rental fee to a variety of packages. They actually let us change packages when we ended up diving more during our stay than we first thought we would. We dove the house reefs at four of their locations and all were really nice. So long story short: highly recommended! P.S. all the dive masters appear to speak both English and Dutch and probably other languages too, FYI.

We took the diving lessons in the Cha Cha Cha beach branch. The guys were amazing, really made you feel good and comfortable under water. It was our first time scuba diving ever and it was just fantastic. Combine this with the extraordinary underwater life of Bonaire and you have a recipe for a perfect holiday! Thank you Alex
