Based on others ratings, I was expecting a little more. The food was good, but not great. Staff was a little to be desired. It was fun watching them chase off the stray dogs that came wondering in. With so many other GREAT restaurants on the island, I wouldn't go back.

Thank Clint M

Just came home from two weeks in Bonaire and ate at Paradise Moon FOUR times! We absolutely love the pork tacos and ate there once the first week and got take out once as well. Week two, we went back with another group of friends and everyone was very excited to try the pork tacos. Unfortunately, they were out and they were going through the seven hour cooking process. For the first time, we had to order something different and it did NOT disappoint! I ordered the shrimp en brochette and it was one of the best meals I had the entire trip. We went back for the fourth time and all got the pork tacos and our friends loved them as much as we do. Pam, the owner, is always very friendly and it is nice to sit outside and enjoy the water view and breeze. The walking sticks are also a must have appetizer and the drink list is extensive (always fun to order a Drunk Lizard and other drinks with great names). The peanut butter pie was also to die for!!

Besides being our favorite hang out when we are on Bonaire, Chef Carl has the best food. Stack Steak is a must have. He puts a new twist on fajita salads, and when he catches lionfish, there is always something special. Of course for an appetizer, his famous "walking sticks". Suggest making reservations.

We arrived just after Paradise Moon opened for dinner. They are smart to place a menu by the front corner to help passers-by. The view was great--we watched sunset over the sea next to a palm tree. We were greeted right away, and service was good for the island--just a little slow and not quite slow as is typical. The food is priced as is typical for Bonaire--$20 entrees at the time of our visit. The food quality and presentation was excellent. The bacon wrapped shrimp had a zesty coating with the taste of Caribbean jerk foods, and the ranch chicken was tasty from the potatoes to the black beans to the chicken. The drinks were also good--the frozen ones reminded us of our favorites from other islands. We were glad we found this place.

Food is really good there. It is an outdoor restaurant with access to an indoor spot if weather get bad. Apple pie is out of this world!
