Stayed at the Accra Beach Hotel for 2 days on business; yeah, imagine going to Barbados for 2 days on business!

Its a wonderful hotel; thoroughly recommended. The reservation was efficient by return email, the check-in was well done and friendly, the room was good, the views (over the pool) were nice, the price was good (corporate rate), the staff were friendly, the setting is lovely, the pool looked good (though had no time to use it) – all good. There is a choide of breakfast - the full works or a continental. Not a single complaint – would happily return.

Room Tip: Enjoyed the pool view with a glimpse of the sea beyond

Recently stayed here for a quick get away. The hotle was amazing. The room a two story suite facing the pool. It was very clean. When I arrived it was warm in the room. But once the a/c units were turned on it took no time for the roms too cool down. The rest of the hotel was clean and the staff were all very helpful. The beach was breath taking. Not crownded at all. Had no problem finding a recliner with an umbrella any time I went. A small beach bar on the beach, not connected to the hotel, was a nice place to grab a drink to help relax.Breakfast left was not up to par with the rest of the hotel. Seemed like powdered scrammbled eggs. Waitined for some time for a cook to arrive and prepare eggs to order. Fruit was very fresh but much of the rest of the items seemed to have been sitting on table for some time. This being said,it would not stop me form returning or recommending this hotel.

Room Tip: request beach or pool view room

Very nice hotel, pleasant staff, excellent beach, good location. I went during a low point in the tourist season, so the hotel seemed less than half full. The food was reasonably good. There are several places to eat close by (including a mini-mall across the street from the hotel). The hotel is a taxi-ride away from St. Lawrence Gap (several restaurants) and Oistin's (where we went for "Friday night Oistin's Fish Fry"). The people in Barbados were very nice. Took a "mini-bus" into Bridgetown. Overall, I would recommend this hotel (and Barbados). The only down side is that food is very expensive.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the pool/beach are best.

Terrible service at all bars and restaurants in the property that is so pretty the potential is there but there are too many diwnfalls the hotel located on main road is terribly noisy for rooms facing the road that has cinstruction going on mansgement shoukd not consuder to have tbem occupied i had to switch room in the middle of the nighr because hammeringand drilling next door and this night auditor like the rest of staff grumbled words no one seem to bother to speak in a courteous manner to guests they are just in a lifting eye mode
Terrible breakfast poor quality for the tall price !
Go across the road in the mall and have a gorgeous breakfast
At Picassos That could be the way to start a great day abd perhaps help to reconciliate with an island that has lost it's sparkle. . Agreed by other travelers and hotel guests met during the trip not only the hotel but the whole islsnd attitude tiwards visitors they need to put a smile and should not assume to survive much longer and think a reputation cannot change
As the sun shines elsewhere in the Caribbean and hotel staff must keep smiling to secure repeating

The Accra Hotel has the best beach in the area. They also have the nicest swimming pools, wet bar and outdoor lounge area. The rooms facing the ocean are the what you want to request, as the others face the road. The rooms are clean and the staff are excellent. Unfortunately, the food is not very good. The quality is lacking (mostly fried), the kitchen is slow (over an hour to get a salad and it wasn't even busy) and the cost is high.

Room Tip: Get a room with a view of the ocean.
