Little Arches Boutique Hotel

I can't say enough good things about Little Arches! We spent two weeks in Barbados for our honeymoon splitting our stay between The Crane and Little Arches. I can confidently say my wife and I LOVED Little Arches and would definitely return. The staff, room, pool, food, amenities were perfect for our 2nd week in Barbados. Going from such a big place like The Crane to Little Arches was a big change but it was like going from a large condo building with shared amenities to a new home with private everything.

We booked our trip off Expedia and it came full of surprises. First, I found a $100 off coupon online for our trip as an added bonus! Second, upon checking in, I guess Expedia partners with the tourism board of Barbados and gave us $400 USD worth of vouchers to use for things like fishing, catamaran sailing, food, drinks etc. so make sure you do that!

Now onto my review:
Room - We stayed in room 10, which we LOVED! It had a nice little couch, table and kitchenette in the front entryway (we had enough space to do a couples massage in our room!). The long hallway connected to the bedroom armed with an iHome system, flat screen TV and the door out to our garden view patio with a hot-tub.

Staff - Tara, Emma, Cherrise and Sandra were absolute Gems! They went out of their way to ensure we had transportation for dinner (when we chose to eat off-site), fun things to do and helped us plan our week. They even surprised us with a nice flower turn down service on our first night there (flower pedals in the hallway and a nicely made heart on the bed!). What seems to be a custom in Barbados happens on Wednesday with a complimentary happy hour. I recommend attending this as you get to know the other guests there and makes for a much more enjoyable week when you know the names of the other guests for the rest of the week.

Amenities - While we didn't have as much choice at Little Arches as we did at The Crane, we absolutely LOVED all the amenities and didn't mind not having as many choices as the food quality was overall better in our opinion.
Food - Cafe Luna is amazing. Shane, Oscar, Mona and Moo were so personable and made us feel right at home. The breakfast was great with multiple choices, lunch was amazing (fish & chips/luna burger were our favorites) and dinner was absolutely gorgeous. The view from Cafe Luna doesn't get any better and the food doesn't disappoint. There are a lot of choices with Thursday and Friday being sushi night which we really enjoyed. I was also surprised by the vast selection of wine as it surpassed the much larger resort at the Crane.
Pool - The whole week we were there, I felt like it was our private pool. With the proximity to Enterprise (Miami) Beach it makes for a tuff choice on where to spend your day. But we never had more than a couple other people at the pool and the water was always refreshing. An added bonus is provided sunscreen, water and Aloe for the tuff days in the sun :).
Other Amenities - Beach cruisers for easy access to Oistins, beach loungers were very comfortable and painless to have brought down to the beach. For the readers out there, a book cart is located at the pool for you to swap out your book for another one if you finish it during your stay and having a dedicated kitchen for breakfast and lunch for guests only provides fast and easy service.

Overall, this is the perfect hotel for you if you are looking for a honeymoon, anniversary or romantic getaway. They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable on your stay with nightly turndown service (with good chocolate), fresh flowers upon arrival, they even greeted us by name and provided a fun "honeymoon package" in our room full with a personalized hand written card, Mount Gay Rum, Rum cake and a nice flower bouquet.

If you stay here, you will not be disappointed!

Don't forget to walk to the fish fry on Friday in Oistins and catch amazing sunsets everything either at Cafe Luna or right out in front of the hotel looking toward the beach!

Room Tip: Room 10 is the most private in our opinion and loved it!

We had a wonderful honeymoon stay at Little Arches. From the beginning of our stay to the very end we were treated exceptionally well. The manager rushed to help us carry our suitcases and greet us upon our arrival and we were shortly offered welcome punches. Every question we asked was answered and every need we had was met. We frequently stopped by the front desk to chat with the staff (all of whom are extremely friendly and helpful) and ended up getting into long and interesting conversations.

The location itself is perfect - a gorgeous view of the beach on a fairly quiet road, a short walk from Oistins and a short drive to many amazing restaurants (though we didn't have to go anywhere to find amazing food as Cafe Luna - the hotel's restaurant - fed us delicious food from breakfast to dinner and dessert!)

We have such wonderful memories from our stay here and highly highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, beautiful, and pampered trip in Barbados.

We did a destination wedding in St Lucia and then spent a week honeymooning at Little Arches in Barbados. It was fabulous and we loved it! The hotel is designed beautifully and has stunning views of the ocean right across the street. The room we stayed in (Room 5) was lovely, we had our own little private balcony and it was right next to the pool. It's a quiet hotel and has everything you need right there - we had massages, pedicures, breakfast, lunch, dinner at the most excellent Cafe Luna, they have bikes to ride down to the shops (we walked which was very easy as well), laundry and all the info you need for tours etc. The staff at Cafe Luna are really fabulous and will make your stay all the more easy and relaxing. If you are looking for somewhere peaceful and beautiful with fantastic personal attention, then this is your place. We hope to be back in the future!

We miss Little Arches already!
From its charming suite(Rm.6) to great food and most importantly, a warm and delightful hotel staff (from all levels) this was a dream vacation.
Sandra, Cherrisse(Ms.Happy), Emma and Tara were very helpful providing us with information and by setting up places to see experiencing the best of Barbados. Their interaction with us was genuine.
Oistens was safe and friendly. Miami Beach was picturesque. One of the very best beaches we've seen through-out our travels.(pinky-white powdery sand).
This boutique-Mediterranean style hotel up the bar for a very unique vacation to remember.

Little Arches, Thanks for the memories.
(Moo, great band!)

Our stay here in July 2014 could not have been better. We have stayed in very high end hotels around the world and this is right next to them for service. The staff go out of their way to set things up for you and accommodate your every need. Accommodations are quiet and fairly private. Cafe Luna serves excellent food and contrary to some previous posts the portions are quite generous. You are in the tropics not carbon loading for a marathon. Locals are very friendly and not pushy. Beach was great. A must hang out place just down the road (8 minute walk) is Suffers Cafe. The Super Centre shopping mart is right across the street. We felt very safe and comfortable. This is a repeat vacation spot hands down.

Room Tip: Plunge pool rooms are not that private but still very nice and very roomy.

This is the best place in the world I have stayed. The staff treat you like family. From the very first moment we arrived we were greeted with a smile and a rum punch. The hotel is perfectly placed for the beach and local fishing village. The hotel food is good and the Luna restaurant is perfect for couples wanting a romantic evening. My wife and I really loved this hotel - my new wife I might add! We got married there and the wedding planner was fabulous! Thank you so much Emma! Sandra you were fabulous too! They were like old friends and really made us feel at ease - the ceremony was magical and certainly something we will never forget. I so did not want to leave this place! We will return again.. We must.. Beautiful and adorable place. Go on.. Spoil yourself.. :o))

This place was the best place we could have possibly picked to enjoy our honeymoon. The staff, service, food, view and everything was as wonderful as possible. We were very sad to leave and will definitely plan a trip to come back. Stay away from the other, touristy resorts. Pick this place and enjoy the local life while having an awesome vacation! Enjoyed everything the front desk suggested for us to do! AWESOME PLACE! You will not be disappointed!

Room Tip: We had the private pool room which was nice, but will probably try the rooms near the public pool fo...
