I stepped in and immediately said yes. With a summer special rate I could not go wrong. With summer rates from $55 to 75 USD it is a gem of a find. The entire apartment is tastefully decorated. When you enter, you are in the living/dining area which has a plush futon, lovely wooden dining room set complete with place mats. The kitchenette is right at the door and has ample storage, full sized stove and electric kettle and toaster. The bathroom is simply lovely with beautiful tiles, and a powerful adjustable showerhead. The rooms are also great spaces with built in closets, side tables and lamps and a powerful a/c unit. MY favourite thing was a long built in ceiling to floor shelving unit in the hallway leading to the room which allowed for ample storage. There is a back balcony that can be used that is very private which more than makes up for the external entry door to enter at the front of the building..
Maid service could have been more frequent than twice per week. The sheets were not very soft but the bed was super comfortable. The tv was nice in the room but was missing from the living room space. And my biggest gripe in a hot country was the small fridge. There is space for a larger fridge so I would suggest putting one in. The apartments are right on the road leading to St Lawrence Gap so the road can be very busy and noisy if you are in the living/dining area, however, once you are in your room, you probably would not know what is happening outside.
The apartments are over a chinese restaurant and some stores, but there was no smell from the restaurant and the traffic to the stores downstairs were not a bother and with a few minutes to St Lawrence Gap, who could complain? One thing to complain about tho' is he cost of wireless which at $5 USD per day, I think could have easily been waived.
