This is a good place to eat - casual and good value. We went back a second time during our holiday! The staff are very friendly.

This is one of the worst places we have eaten in Barbados. We waited ages to be served, when they eventually took our order it took another 45 mins and several chases for the food to arrive. We also had to ask three times for our drinks which took half hour to come. The food was unedible - I had the chicken burger, which was not a chicken breast but a processed piece of meat that tasted nothing like chicken! The burger had no garnish at all (apparently that is extra although it was not mentioned in the menu). My other half had a pasta dish in a creamy sauce, but a congealed sauce with undercooked chicken! We sent both back to the kitchen and left!

Whilst we were there another table had to keep sending their food back and left in the end, and the table next to us cancelled their order because they had waited so long. That should have been a sign for us really!

There are much better places in the gap to go for dinner.

Waited over an hour to get our meal. In the meantime, not once did any of the servers come to check on us. We were very tempted to leave, but were hungry and the thought of having to find another place to eat was not appealing. When we finally got our food, it was cold. Very disappointed in this place. Could be so much better if they would work on their service and speed.

Hubby and I ate here twice and both times the food was great. I had the bbq pork, it was fantastic and melted in the mouth. The sauce was fab and the grilled veg and potatoes done to perfection. Hubby had lamb which also melted in the mouth, with the same veg, lovely. The second time we went hubby had jerked pork, I had the mahi mahi, both dishes were just as good as the first time we went here. Very reasonably priced.
A lot of people looked at the menu board outside, then looked inside, and just walked off. I think most people were probably put off by the plastic garden tables and chairs, but don't be put off, the food is fab. AND they have 2 tables that are for smokers, a rare thing these days. We loved it and would have gone back on our last night but unfortunately the weather took a turn for the worse (tropical front!) and most places put up their shutters because of the wind and rain. Shame, was looking forward to one more delicious meal here before we went home.

We ate here during our stay last month (09/12) we werent looking for something too fancy and wanted something with a local flair to it.
I had the Jerk Snapper which was very very yummy! and my partner had the jerk Chicken.
the serving staff were very friendly and contiuously topped up our water glasses and chatted with us about some of the changes that had taken part in and around the Gap.
this place is only a little bar/grill so if your looking for silver service or fiddly food this wont be for you, but if your looking for good honest food packed with flavour then give it a go.
have recommended it to friends who are travelling early next year.
